ran great for 14 yrs. then I got it wet and it flooded with water gaskets were shot. my caveman approach to it was to crack the crystal with a screw driver tt olet it dry and took it in a week later for its 1st overall it was running after it dried out and the rolex guy said I didn't hurt it when i picked up after he worked his magic. I almost lost it at the old mustang ranch in reno one of the retaining pins were old and weak and it dropped on the floor. lucky i noticed . when I was a kid I'd set the time to the kitchen clock or over the phone time & temp. provided by old Boatmnen's Bank in st.louis. funny the "dust" inside a rolex would "shut-down" anyother watch eg. Patek.
